I have a feeling it is a Windows program but can't be sure. Went through google and searched until :eek: . Anything above 525MB produces the error message. I've sent them an email but haven't got a response as to whether they can provide a more up to date version though.

Can't find your answer ? No idea why, but setting it to min and max 400MB did it for me. I don't want to use it to play games, in fact I don't seem to have it on my machine. If you don't have enough harddrive free space maybe this is the problem.
When you run software that use it to run the game or software (such as Jump Start software-which I have and use w/ my kids) it will launch Director Player. Originally in Win98 etc. Type 384 in the Initial size (MB) text box. This makes me think it might be an old DOS game.

Yes, my password is: Forgot your password? It basically uses XP's Compatibility system to "pretend" to the application that the workstation only has 400Mb of memory. Setting the virtual memory to a lesser value is a workaround to get some applications to run. it's just slower than ram memory.
